Black Friars

It was great to have the restaurant right below us. We were able to walk everywhere without getting a car. Lots of freebie treats in the room were a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again!

The vibrant atmosphere of the property overall. Mattress was great for a good night's sleep! Ps. A big shout-out to Caitlyn for her professionalism!

This property has a lot of character, it’s overall clean, but it does need a little bit of TLC. It is very difficult to get heavy luggage up the narrow stairs

Such a cute and nice private hotel. The staff is all very sweet and kind. The room was very clean and had yummy snacks stocked for us as well.

This was the most amazing stay we had during our 2week trip. Rooms were comfortable clean and spacious. Owner and all staff were amazing and friendly !

Really loved this stay! It was only one night so we didn’t get a full on stay experience. The owner greeted us and was so helpful getting our keys and showing us your room. Only thing was the bathroom had a bit of a funky smell but with us being there one night it was unbearable if you kept the door closed. Very comfy bed and super close for walking to everything!

We loved our stay at Black Friars! The room was spacious and very comfortable. We were able to store our luggage the day of arrival and departure which was super helpful to allow us to explore Inverness. We enjoyed conversing with the proprietor and learning about Scotch. We also enjoyed a couple of meals at the tavern.

A huge mention to Niahm who delivered in an amazing service from the moment we walked in to us leaving. This place has completely over exceeded on my expectations and an amazing value for the money.

Amazing room, feels like home with a big bath and amazing shower also, only food was taken too long to be served other than this everything was great.
