Hotel Monte Turri - Adults Only

La posizione della mia camera era fantastica, si affacciava al parco e al mare. Al risveglio (ma non solo) quella vista ti inebria. Il servizio giornaliero mi faceva trovare la camera in ordine e pulita. Ho molto apprezzato inoltre la fornitura di bevande e dolci di benvenuto.

Il fatto che molti dei servizi elencati in fase di prenotazione fossero già chiusi, come il ristorante della struttura e il centro benessere (tranne il centro massaggi). Ai bar i prodotti erano alla fine per cui non potevi scegliere esattamente cosa bere ma dovevi accettare ciò che era solamente disponibile al momento. Spesso il personale era al telefono annoiato dalla routine ed esausto dai turni (su questo non ho nulla da dire), ma servivano Dio e tutti i santi per ottenere la loro attenzione. TV non funzionante, alcuni elementi d'arredo o funzionali come il copri water divelto. Mi sarei aspettato di più da un hotel 4 stelle, considerando prestigio e tariffa.

Views and position

Hotel restaurant closed earlier in the month - not informed at any stage when booking. Promised a plug adapter - never arrived. Seemed to be more than the reception could manage… Went to the pizzeria elsewhere in Arbatax resort. Refused any pizza because the chef hadn’t turned up to work. And yet some people got pizzas… go figure.

Der Charme vom Schlösschen am Berg wäre absolut gegeben, doch leider wurde dieses Hotel in den letzten Jahren vernachlässigt. Verstopfte Abflüsse, schmutzige Fenster und veraltete Einrichtung. Das Personal war beim Frühstück völlig überfordert und am Abend an der Bar wurden wir nicht mal gefragt ob wir etwas konsumieren möchten. Das Frühstück war spartanisch. Abendessen wird gar nicht angeboten. Die absolute Katastrophe war das angrenzende Resort, dreckig, ungepflegt und vermüllt. Wir waren so geschockt und haben es nach der ersten Besichtigung nie mehr besucht.

Servizio non all’altezza di un 4 stelle, cena inclusa nel prezzo imposta da un menù primo ed un secondo senza possibilità di scegliere eventuali piatti alla carta, se fossimo stati vegani o intolleranti a determinati alimenti, saremo rimasti a pancia vuota. Per la Cena di ferragosto Il maitre di sala voleva farci pagare un extra di 50 euro solo perché ferragosto tenendo conto che la cena era già stata pagata nel pernottamento, quando la sala è insorta c’è stato un dietro front. Pranzo di ferragosto da incubo al ristorante le vele (consigliato da loro), 100 euro x due persone con menù fisso senza possibilità di optional, prodotti di scarsa qualità e mal cotti, cuoca arrogante e presuntuosa ha insinuato che visto che ci lamentavamo della qualità dei prodotti cucinati, non volevamo pagare, siamo andati via dal ristorante a metà pranzo sconcertati per il modo in cui siamo stati trattati, nessun responsabile ci ha contattato per chiederci spiegazioni in merito, l’attenzione verso il cliente meno di zero.

Room was a great size (I think we were upgraded from what we booked) with bedroom and living area downstairs, two bathrooms, and another upstairs living area. Views were beautiful of Cala Moresca from the property.

We were overall disappointed with the hotel and facilities. For a resort that claims to be eco friendly, we drove in past a fenced/tarped in area that looked like a landfill overflowing with trash. We didn't stay here for eco reasons, but it was actually quite foul. We couldn't figure out how to access the animal park (we think the gates may have been closed), but it also looked unclean from driving past it. The room itself was very hard to find on the property. After 20 minutes of trying to follow the map we were provided, going up and down elevators, and numerous flights of stairs, we found our room outside. The room was a good size, but was very dark even with lights on and windows open, and the air conditioning was the worst we experienced in Italy (we get it, Europe doesn't do A/C, but this was unbearably hot and humid). The location was also kind of strange, but it was a short drive into town.

The Monte Turri Hotel is a magical place, with extraordinary beauty. An oasis, a place to escape from this somewhat broken world. The rooms are beautiful, the pool, the park, the private beach, and the entire staff are all wonderful. There's plenty of greenery and lucky animals that inhabit it. Highly, highly recommended! Special mention to Cinthya, who assisted us during our cliffside swims, very experienced and reassuring, and Juan at the reception, who provided us with great professionalism, although truly everyone was extremely professional.

Zimmer und Frühstück waren die zwei von 10 versprochenen/ gebuchten Angeboten, die erfüllt wurden und auch wirklich zufriedenstellend und sehr gut/schön waren.

Hier angepriesen und auch gebucht wurde: -Spa und Wellness: seit Jahren geschlossen und Anlage nicht mehr instand gehalten. Existiert also eigentlich nicht. -Pool: existiert, jedoch ebenfalls seit sicher mehreren Jahren nicht instand gehalten. - Restaurant im Hotel: bereits geschlossen somit kein Abendessen, man muss auf ein Buffet- Essen beim Nachbar Hotel ausweichen (keine Empfehlung!!!!!!!!) - privat Beach mit Lift: nicht zugänglich und Lift nicht funktionsfähig…. - Park Ressort und Parkanlage: die reinste Katastrophe: die Tiere laufen frei herum und sch**** alles an. Wird offensichtlich nur “eingeschränkt” gepflegt. Die komplette Anlage erinnert a den Film Jurrassic Park- nur dreckiger. War vor 30 Jahren bestimmt eine tolle Idee- heute leider nur noch schlecht umgesetzt. Höhepunkt der Anlage ist ein Kadaver eines toten Tieres neben des “Wanderwegs” der uns empfohlen wurde im Tierpark… absolut inakzeptabel!!!
