They allowed our neighboring rooms to smoke even when smoking isn’t allowed. Pool service and facilities were run down.

Didn't eat breakfast but had lunch .

My reservation through you was not there. I had to pay the room cost on another card.

Very pretty grounds and decoration in the restaurant. The bathroom was gorgeous. Beautiful flowers everywhere.

Everything was so outdated. Beds were not comfortable. The door had a window on it with blinds and a bright light leaking through.

The hotel is as beautiful as the photographs depict. We were there for a wedding, and the staff was very accommodating and professional. I would certainly recommend this venue for weddings! The only issue to be aware of is the all the added charges. A room charge of $499.00 had an additional Room Tax of $44.90, SLOCTMD Tax of $6.74, SLOTBID Tax of $8.98, Resort Fee of $30.00, Resort Fee Tax of $3.00, Resort Fee SLOTBID Tax of $0.60, and Resort Fee SLOTMD Tax of $0.45.

Uniqueness! Warm clean swimming pool and hot tubs! Free parking! So many cool rooms and lots of things to look at and see. Horses!

Expensive!

The heated outdoor pool and restaurant.

The rooms were in need of repair, the wallpaper peeling, dusty, broken light fixtures, broken headboard on bed, leaking showers, poor lighting in the room and bathroom. We looked forward to hanging out at the very well photographed pool and hot tub area with the added n onus of a poolside bar being available. Well, upon check-in we're told the bartender called out and that it wouldn't be available, there was debris in the pool and hot tubs. Trash from guest around the pool, a clear sign that hotel staff weren't checking in on the area. My wife and I would have gotten much more value and bang for our buck having stayed someplace newer and better maintained. The Madonna Inn may have been great, but at this point they're just banking on former glory to keep them afloat. We definitely won't be staying again.

The Madonna Inn is a gorgeous property that absolutely lives up to the hype. It’s no surprise it stays booked out! We visited on a Thursday night and snagged one of the last two rooms available for our family of three. Highlights: The Grounds: The "Secret Garden" is stunning, and the luxury infinity pool area is a highlight—the waterfall feature is a must-see. The Rooms: If you like unique, antique-style decor, you’ll love it here. Every corner feels like a piece of history. Dining: The Copper Café/Gold Rush Steakhouse has an incredible, "cool" atmosphere (and the famous goblets!), though we did find the prices a bit high for what it was.
