"For the amount charged for a room I could have stayed at a Comfort Inn w better amenities and new."

7.0

Staff very friendly

The room was old and the floors were creaky. I was put on the 3rd floor, no elevator and I have bad knees.

"Location in Kennebunk is the best thing about this inn, followed by the very pleasant staff."

4.0

Been to Kennebunk Inn several times before and is was quite satisfactory with a good location. Very nice people. Freshly painted room. A/C worked well, which really helped on a hot day.

The room was tiny and had no closet or hooks to hang clothes from. Sink in bathroom was small and had no vanity or shelf nearby to put toothbrush etc on. Bathroom was a small surprising, toe-stubbing step up from bedroom; toilet was perched another small step up from bathroom floor without a comfortable place for you feet while using toilet. Shower was also very small. Room was on the third floor with oversized stairs in staircase. Very tough trip with bags for elderly people (us), especially with temperature in the 80's. Moreover, the TV screen on the wall was barely bigger than my laptop screen. Literally couldn't even see the basketball game (5th game of the playoffs) from the bed. I would have watched it on my laptop, but the WiFI didn't have a strong enough signal. We would have enjoyed eating at the Tavern downstairs (and maybe seeing the game on a bar TV), but didn't have the energy to do the stairs again. On the second morning when I went out for coffee at 7 a.m., I packed all my things and loaded my car so I wouldn't have to go back up the stairs. Everything worked against a relaxing weekend away.

"Great place to stay if you want no contact with owners"

7.0

It was right in downtown Kennebunk

There was zero staff. There was a lady in the morning that we checked out, but that was it. We called ahead because we were driving four hours and after talking with a staff person who said that the tavern was open until 8 o’clock and we are getting there at roughly 615. We passed by a bunch of other options only to arrive with no staff in a tavern that wasn’t going to be opening for two days. It was the craziest thing I’ve ever been a part of.

"Needs sprucing up to be considered charming."

3.0

The bakery boulangerie right across the back parking lot and the den area near the lobby.

It feels distressed- while clean, the beds are lumpy, the pillows are thin, the soap is cheap, the water takes a long time to heat, the carpet is worn, the plugs are loose and the furnishings appear to be from a second hand store. It was definitely not worth the price tag. It is also aways away from the action.

Dimora storica ma stanze un po' datate.

Ci era stato detto che cenando in hotel avremmo avuto uno sconto, che invece non ci è stato fatto.
