Super 8 by Wyndham Ida Grove

When the girl at the front desk can't identify a master card you know not to expect much. SO many air fresheners...what are they trying to cover up? The air fresheners make it stink.

I liked the floors because having vinyl is easier to clean, the staff was nice.

Let start with the beds clearly weren't cleaned.... there was not only stains but pulled back sheets there was someone's hair under the pillow, and a hard piece of shredded cheese. We had no shampoo had to ask and the comment that was made by the staff was about another staff saying I told her to replace the bottles.... again didn't sound like it was clean. The shower head was nasty and made it hard for water to come out, as well asade a loud high pitch noise the whole time. We both got very little sleep as the pillows were flat as can be l, i still have a stiff neck and we ended up sharing the cleaner bed. Was looking forward to breakfast which is why we chose the location, went down to disappointment NOTHING HOT UNLESS we wanted to make instant oatmeal. Went to eat the cereal it was stale, was going to have the hard boiled eggs but they were chilled and looked old, so my business partner and I ended up eating toast with butter.....we feel that the reason they said there couldnt be anything hot was because there wasn't a lot of people staying which is lazy. For paying as much as we did I shouldve gotten some money back.

Stay away from this hotel if at all possible. They have no idea what they are doing. Had to get 3 different sets of key cards before they would work. The furniture was really worn. It was very noisy when trying to sleep at night. Was charged $52.14 on my credit card when I used my hotel points and there was no incidental charges. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Friendly workers, very clean relaxed atmosphere....love the wood floors in the rooms rather than carpet...

A rubber mat or some sort of slip proof surface in the bathtubs....especially for older people, I was very uncomfortable in the tub/shower, it was very slippery...

The front desk staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Everyone I spoke with at the desk and cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating a handful of requests.

Not bad for a Super 8m.

A nice place to stay when in Ida Grove. I checked in a few hours early, and they were able to find a room for me. The room was clean, the shower had lots of hot water and they have DirecTV to boot. The wifi worked perfectly too. All my interactions with the employees at the front desk were also great. They have some amazing people working here!
