Americas Best Value Inn - Lincoln

Poorly maintained rooms. Bed sheets were clean, but bed coverings were not. Holes in them. Old. Rugs were old and not cleaned well. Bathroom was disgusting, floor dirty with open seals along bathtub and dirty. Hairdryer did not work. Did not try coffee pot, but on same outlet. Did not trust cleanliness of it. Staff was very friendly. Felt it was overpriced for what we got. Definitely needs updating.

It is easy on the budget. I have stayed before and had a better room that this time. Previous room smelled fresh and may have had newer carpet. This room smelled more like pinesol and the tub was worn with area above having water damage and staining. For the money, I was still ok though. The anti-slip tape in the shower is grungy and dirty. Minor detail for me as I bring shower flip flops

Few things could be upgraded and bathroom ceilings were needing replaced and repaired. But overall my 2 night stay was pretty decent. They seemed to be pretty nice and handled my double booked issue for a1night and just had to pay for the booking of the 2 night stay.

For price accommodations were good.

We couldn't even stay we paid but ithe place was so disgusting and overpriced that we opted to forfeit the 2 nights and find something else. Owners don't have the slightest desire to fix problems or acknowledge that they own a dump. Fridge was so smelly that as soon as we opened the door the room was inundated with the stench. We were in the room long enough to get pictures and run out.

My initial room had a strong chemical smell and gave me a headache (to much Lysol). Staff moved me to another room. Room lighting was poor, TV access was a joke, internet was very poor if anyone else was on it. I would not recommend this place unless you want to be mean to some body.

We were not knowledgeable of the area of Lincoln that this was in. It was a motel mainly for construction people and was not in the best of areas.
