ibis Honfleur

all ok but why cant Ibis provide tea/coffee making facilities in room

excellent comfort, good food. long walk to town centre.

This was our second experience with Ibis hotels - the first one was in 1989 and not particularly impressive. Therefore we were a little apprehensive wondering what to expect Our experience could not have been more different. Our room had everything we could need (with the possible exception of tea/coffee making facility) and our bed was supremely comfortable - we had a wonderful night's sleep. The staff could not have been more helpful, and managed to sort out a room to help with mobility problems. Everyone was very kind and we were only sorry that we were staying for one night at the end of our holiday - we would certainly like to return, perhaps for longer next time Thank you for making our last night memorable - for the right reason this time!!!

Easywalking distance of town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast. Would stay here again

Hotel was fairly typical for Ibis - generally comfortable, good service and clean. However this one is probably not as good as some other Ibis we've stayed in - although the weather was poor during our stay, the interior of the hotel was very warm and airless. Unusually for an Ibis, this one is not airconditioned so we couldn't control the temperature. It was also very busy (as would be expected in Honfleur), and the breakfast area wasn't really adequate for example not enough tables and only one coffee machine. The location is convenient although not scenic. Its about a 10 minute walk into the town which is worth it for the ample free parking and the opportunity to avoid the queues of traffic going in and out of Honfleur. Good value for a reasonable hotel in a place like Honfleur. Staff helpful and English speaking if required. Recommended but with some reservations.

enjoyed our two nights here. breakfast excellent, with good choice buffet style. although parking was free, it was a good 10-15 minute walk into the centre of honfluer. didn't enjoy this in the dark later in evening, but didnt want to drive there! Wonderful king size bed, that you often get in france!

This hotel was easy to find and we found a friendly greeting on arrival. The hotel is very stylish and the room very comfortable. There is easy access into Honfleur but it is along a grass verge beside a busy dual carriageway. This didn't bother us but some may find it a problem. The breakfast was very pleasant and had a good choice of products. Will stay again.

It takes about 20-30 minutes walk to town centre but driving is preferred for this route. I would choose one nearer to the town centre next time.

Too noisy on road side if weather is warm and windows need to be opened owing to lack of air conditioning. Asked for room on quieter side on check in but was told that it was hot on that side because of sun. Found to be untrue for many rooms seem to face away from most sunlight. I suspect it was a ruse to stop me trying to change rooms. Walk into town not pleasant along road verge. No path.

Good parking facilities and an easy walk into Honfleur.
