Americas Best Value Inn Hinckley

Surrounding area is a little sketchy but 24 hr restaurants are worth it

A/c was not working and very noisy and hot with window open

Tony & beth awesome beds comfy other then that it was terrible

Maintenance was helpful.

It's the cheapest property in Hinckley, so you get what you pay for essentially. Just needed a room to sleep in. Was about 95°and ac was pretty much non functional

It was so disgusting, we opted to forfeit the ~$250 we'd spent on two rooms and drive three hours home in the middle of the night. One of the first rooms smelled so bad of urine that we had it switched. That one had broken glass and shredded cheese on the bathroom floor (an odd combination?). Animal fur was built up on the corner of one of the walls. Stains on the sheets. Wood paneling that was used as a shower surround was falling away from the wall. Short of a life or death, survival situation, I can't imagine being desperate enough to consider staying here. Drive an hour further or sleep in your vehicle. So bad!

Great stay, the bed was super comfortable and the shower water was top tier. The room was a little beat up but for a great price that’s to be expected. All around good stay

Absolutely nothing. The room was dingy, dark and dirty. The furniture was torn up and stained and looked like they picked it up in someone's trash. The rooms pictured on line are NOTHING like the room we were in. We actually asked to see that room and were led to a decent looking "model" that we were told was not rentable because "the air conditioning was under repair." The security box on our building was torn off so you could just walk in and the breaker box not locked so anyone could cut the power. There were plastic disks on the room doors with screws on the outside so the front desk "can access the room if need be," one of which was hanging off and we could see the patrons in their room. There are no smoking signs everywhere yet our room reeked of smoke and people were standing all over the stoop in front of the exit smoking forcing us to walk through a cloud of smoke. Needless to say we did not stay and requested a refund but were told no because we booked through booking.com. Not happy campers.

AC was broken so room was nearly 90°. Stains on the sheets. Smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Extremely disappointed.
