Friendly people. Very central tipical house.

The host is a fun and friendly guy. There is a big grocery store and McDonalds nearby, which comes in handy.

The whole place is very dirty, including the bathroom. Rooms are not really private as they are in the same space, just divided by wooden boards. There are not many windows in the whole place, so it gets hot and stuffy fast. I didn't sleep much being harassed by dozens of mosquitoes and flies all night. Wouldn't recommend it.

The host is very friendly and I loved this rustic little house. The walls are old, made of stone. It reminds me of my grandparents' little house.

I stayed there only one night but it was one of the best places we ever slept. Very friendly owner, absolutely spotless house, everything like on the photos and even better. Highly recommend.

I had a very enthusiastic welcome from the hostel owner and his son.This hostel was a return to the traditional hostel idea of a place with a warm welcome and the provision of all the hostel essentials but with an uncomplicated simplicity that gives you what you need without any fuss.It was fun to stay in an original Portuguese farm house. It has easy access to nearby major supermarket, fashion shops,DIY store and McDonalds.As well as having good walks in the nearby countryside just a short walk from the Nazare to Fatima comino Trail and easy access by road to Batalha,Fatima and Nazare.I spent three nights at this hostel and enjoyed my stay.

The light in the area where you wash was on a timer and the light only stayed on for a few seconds so you had to keep moving to get the light back on. The bedrooms which each had a bunk bed in were big enough but had been sectioned off from the main room by heavy duty room dividers.These appeared a bit stark and would benefit from being painted or decorated to soften their appearance.

Cosy, clean, felt like a home.

It's located very close to a supermarket and bus stops to go to Batalha and Leiria, although buses may not pass that often ubers charge around €10 to Leiria. The place covers all the basics for a short stay... Kitchen sitting area, full bathroom and comfortable enough beds. The host was very attentive and responded very fast.

It's still a work in process so it would be great to have lockers to leave your belongings locked
