Easy parking

The Elevator broke down, and it was not fixed. It broke down around 4 pm, and when we checked out the next day, it still was not fixed. Most of the time, we had to use the stairs, and mind you, we were placed on the 12th floor. Not only that, but the sofa bed was already pulled out and very dirty, and the dishes were dirty as well.

Location pretty far out from the action but worth it and there was stuff to do out there but uber bill was $$$$

I had a voucher for a timeshare presentation and redeemed it at the Grandview through the website, resortcerts.com. Booking and check in was easy. I wish there were covered parking closer to the building entrances, the Vegas heat is unbearable and nothing should be left in your car at all that you don’t want damage from the heat. The hallway toward the elevator and the elevator itself were not air-conditioned. It was very stuffy and uncomfortable. The heat and humidity can make travelers, especially coming from a long distance, easily irritated. We understand Vegas is hot in general, however, we are staying at a timeshare resort, and this is something that they often advertise during the presentations. When I got to room, I found two used latex gloves, one on the bed and one on the nightstand. Probably left from housekeeping, but it made me feel uncomfortable so I requested another room. The front desk corrected this real quick and move me to another room immediately and assisted me with carrying my luggage. The second room was on a higher floor and was the exact same model. The suite itself was nice. We had a one bedroom with a full-size kitchen, a shower and a separate Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. The stay was nice and the only thing I really need to make a comment on is the cleanliness. Housekeeping cleans but they keep it minimal you can tell they don’t dust in places that is not easy to reach. Behind side bedside tables had mountains of dust, the lamp above the dining table was very filthy even at eye level. I bought disinfectant wipes, myself, and cleaned the lamps because I didn’t want the dust dropping to my food on the table. The room came with minimal laundry detergent, and kitchen supplies, however, if you call the front desk, they will have housekeeping bring it to you fairly quickly. I had a seven night stay and wanted to stay one additional night, however, what I found weird was that I could not book it directly to the hotel I had to either call RCI or was recommended to go to expedia.com and book a room separately. I understand two reservations need to be made. Just wondering why the hotel can’t make their own reservations. Anyways, when I made the reservation, I called the front desk back and asked to make it so that I wouldn’t have to switch rooms. My kids loved the multiple pools that were in close walking distance from whichever building you stayed at. There is a nice kids splash pad pool area. Other pools that are 4 and a half feet, and others that had waterfalls.

I called several days in advance to change name on the reservation amd resort certificate told me everything should be fine but when my friend check in the Grandview hotel in vegas the check in rep refused to check her in, and was very rude she even refused to talk to me explaining the situation, I ended up called the resort certificate on the phone for 1.5 hour and then resort certificate told me the manager get this all set. However when my friend went back amd check in again the same front desk rep she refused to check her in and I had to call resort certificate again and very helpful the customer Service rep talked to the manager, my friend ended up asked to take to the manager and finally the manager said the certificate was valid she should be allowed to check in initially. It took my friend 2 hours. Amd the front desk covered the print out which she printed initially, the valid one, tried to cover her mistake. And they ended up gave my friend the room keys but the key was wrong, my friend had to walk a long way to the room and was able to open the door ended up the server people on the building opened the door for her to put the lugguages.

The incentives are money to go to a 90 minute seminar. After declining. I was woken up with a call looking for some one else to go to the seminar.

The resort was convenient and close to the Southpoint Casino which was convenient. There were a lot of options during the stay and it was surprisingly quiet during our stay.

We like to stay here for the full kitchen and spacious rooms, the bbqs and lots of pools

Our a.c didn’t work in half and the tech was rude about it and tried to blame us for the equipment not working when it was clearly a lack of preventive maintenance, when he returned to repair it it was about 2 hours later and just walked in no courtesy knock or anything like that at all
