Eric Vökel Boutique Apartments - Copenhagen Suites

Very clean, well equipped and well located apartment in a secure building with very friendly and helpful reception staff. We were able to walk to all the Copenhagen attractions we wanted to see (Nyhavn, Modern Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens etc.) and the station was close by so it was very easy to get a train to other cities, such as Roskilde and Helsingor, which we also visited, and to and from the airport. The apartment also had air conditioning, which was invaluable during the high temperatures on some days during our stay. We stayed for six nights and appreciated the mid-stay towel change and floor clean that was done.

The bed was large and quite comfortable, though the pillows were long bolster-type and not at all comfortable. The bed itself is in what is a partitioned-off area of the studio, but what was not entirely clear from the photos was that it filled the whole partitioned area, so we both had to crawl into the bed from the bottom, since there was no access from either side. This became rather tiresome. There was a little noise late at night from the street, even with the windows closed.

The room was clean and well equipped, the location was close to the center, the staff (especially at the reception) were very kind, helpful and friendly.

The apartments are in a fantastic location right next to the metro and main train stations so it was very easy to get around. There was a supermarket close by. The apartment was very clean and quiet with excellent amenities and it's always great to have a washing machine. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our only issue was with the after hours check in. We were provided with a code to enter the building but then had to use an automated payment system to access the key to the apartment. We tried three different US credit cards but none of them worked., including the card that the company had already run when we booked the apartment. We were on the phone for about 45 minutes trying to get this resolved which we eventually did but it was late at night and very frustrating. Mariela on the desk the following morning was extremely apologetic and very helpful.
