Villa Lyrique

The pictures dont do justice to this amazing property, its so beautiful and scenic...the indoor and outdoors are both immaculate.....everything you need or can think of is there and more....even the towels and wardrobes were scented and the lady made it easy for us to check in and was in touch with us if we needed anything.Heating was great specially in the living area. Regret not booking it for a longer stay..also very safe and secure ,the area was well under surveillance.It also includes a private garage for car park which was great.It definitely feels like a malibu party house!

Only 1 small improvement, the master bedroom and bathroom did not heat as there was no heating in the master bathroom and the 2 were attached without a door in between them so the heating system in the bedroom could not heat the bedroom or bathroom sufficiently, perhaps adding a heating system in the master bathroom would help. Also pool was closed due to winter weather.

Sehr schöne Bäder und sichere Lage.

I really loved its rustic yet modern aesthetic. It felt like very cosy. Home away from home! It was a bit chilly at night but luckily, they had heaters in the room! They even had board and card games for us to play, which made it even more fun for us!

I was there with my family (5 people) after 3 people showered, the water would either be lukewarm or just cold. And the pool night light that drew us in, when choosing places to stay— didn’t work. So no cool night pictures, if that’s your aim

This is a very well kitted out place. Ideal for family, great entertainment area with braai, situated close to the Spar for supplies. We chose this place to be close to friends 2 roads up, worked well.

Minor issues - pool obviously leaks so with the water level low, the pump (on a timer we didn't want to mess with) would suck air during the night, can hear it from the main bedroom. Problem solved by clearing the weir basket and adding water to the pool - never had that problem again for our stay. The washing line needs replacing as it was dirty/rusty, so we never used it for fear of staining our clothes.

Very spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable

The view was breathtaking and I loved the little garden.
