A lovely retreat high in the hills above Estes Park, CO with views of the Rocky Mountains shimmering in close proximity. Herds of wild elk made their way across the stretches of their vast property each evening with diners in the Twin Owls (adjoining) Steak House gasped with delight!

"Disappointed as expected squirt lodge in RMNP but upmarket travel lodge in very busy noisy road."

Rooms very comfortable, parking good. View down the valley spectacular.

No bar/food facilities in lodge, it is more like a motel. Road past lodge very noisy even at 3/4 am. No tea/coffee facilities in room(were available downstairs in a sort of utility room). Restaurant adjoining lodge but open after 5 pm. Expected quiet location near RMNP but very noisy and lacked any provision to have a drink snack on return from a busy day unless you bring your own food/drink.

"Perfect place to stay close to downtown Estes Park and The Stanley without the crowds and kids."

Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Views were amazing. Breakfast was delicious.

Some road noise with balcony door open.
