Hello my name is Aubrey Mitchell of Dallas Tx. I booked through booking.com. Spoke to the owner Ron. To celebrate my wife's birthday. She loves the book Ann of Green Gables. We flew during a severe thunderstorm. When we arrive Ron help us with our bags in the rain. To top it off he upgraded us. That really meant alot for me and my wife flying in during a thunderstorm. Our stay was great. Complimentary breakfast tasted great. No long waiting. We'll be back and will pick Harbor House again.

The website mistakenly sent me an email reminding me I was book for May 3 to May 4th. I called and alerted Ron without hesitation sent a confirmation email. I had booked from May 3 to May 7th.

Fantastic location. Wonderful ambience. Lots if parking spots. Very quiet. Killian was very helpful carrying our suitcases upstairs. Nice to have a fridge/freezer and microwave and dishes and hot plate and balcony with chairs and coffee table.

Very limited selection of fresh fruit. Exterior looking tired but they started painting while we were still there. No separate containers with hair conditioner- but I brought my own since places often don’t have it. There is no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. Shower water took a long time to get hot and there was a whiny sound when the shower ran.

Recently, I had the pleasure of my third stay at The Harbour House, a charming inn-style hotel with a homey feel, in downtown Charlottetown. My sister and I shared a King Suite (an indulgent upgrade) that was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. We had everything we needed for our three nights. The room was spotless and quiet, the tub was huge, plenty of toiletries were included, and the kitchenette was well-equipped. A generous full breakfast, with perfectly-cooked scrambled eggs, was included, and the dietary options were plentiful. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the harbour front, shops, restaurants, and entertainment, and the free parking is an added bonus. The hosts have thoughtfully included a guest beverage station next to the lobby that provides round-the-clock tea, coffee, filtered water, and ice. This extra feature, along with included breakfast and parking, make the Harbour House an excellent value. And the kindness and generosity of the lovely hosts ensure that Harbour House is the place I will continue to stay for all my travel to Charlottetown.

Meine negatives Beurteilung rührt daher, dass die Unterkunft einen ganz anderen Eindruck online erweckt, als tatsächlich der Fall ist. Man positioniert sich wie ein inhabergeführtes B&B oder elegantes Boutiquehotel, ist in Wirklichkeit aber ein Betrieb mit angestelltem mäßig angelernten Personal. Da hilft es auch nichts, dass man durch das Hotel persönlich zu seinem Zimmer geführt wird, das in unserem Fall wirklich klein war und es statt Schrank Bretter in der Wand als Ablage gab.
