Clarion Hotel Fort Mill Near Amusement Park

You get what you pay for. Nowhere on hotels.com or at the front desk will they mention all of the construction going on. You just have to assume with the mess and abandonment looking outside. You can tell the room was not up to par on cleaning considering we had "Jesus" written on the wall. Carpets were disgusting, and bathtub could have been cleaned a little harder. But again you get what you pay for. TV did not work. Would go in and out with no volume.

The hotel had a roach in the elevator. I had to change rooms it smelled so old and stank. The shade was falling from the window. The AC unit in the hallway was all busted up. Cracks were in the walls of both rooms. The first room had a big crack in bathroom sink. The hotel is in very bad shape although they are doing renovations

Not sure if the place is under construction or not but it looks very bad.

Stay here & get the experience of a 3rd world country without leaving the US! From the uncut grass & abandoned trash-filled shopping carts adorning the empty pool with the broken down fence on the outside, to the peeling paint and plaster of the musty interior inside, this hotel is NOTHING like the pictures posted. Some, in fact, I am highly suspicious they are a TOTALLY DIFFERENT PROPERTY. The swimming pool is definitely NOT found at this hotel. It doesn’t even match the surroundings. Look on Google Earth! The surroundings are totally different. The room we had was painted very dark - not at all bright like the pics in the listing. The atmosphere is depressing, like an attraction from the 60s that has fallen into ruin. It may have been great at one time, but it’s a sad shadow of what used to be. Don’t believe the lying picture the hotel claims represent the property. I have pics of how it really looks.
