Beautiful and quaint property. Excellent service.

Quiet and quick getaway. Very peaceful spot overlooking the Hudson River. Complete with Llamas, and goats on the property, this is a wonderful place for special events and weddings. Morning breakfast was relaxed and delicious. Rooms were comfortable.

We stayed here for a fun romantic weekend in early December. And even though it was the off-season and part of the complex was closed for construction, we had a great time at this beautiful resort. There are beautiful falls, pleasant grounds, peaceful ponds, and places to see alpacas, mini-donkeys, geese, swans, and peacocks. The complementary Bearkat’s t was awesome. We went to their farm to table restaurant which was great, and then explored the local area (the FDR Presidential Library/Museum was a highlight). Staff was super-nice and helpful and the rooms and suites are really great. The place is pricey but we got a discount though Expedia points.

What a lovely place. Cozy and quiet and the breakfast was DELICIOUS! Our original room was very pretty, but there was a problem with the heat in our room and we were upgraded to an amazing suite! I always think how hotels deal with situations like this are so telling. A problem can happen anywhere, but how the management deals with it is what counts.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Loved the tea time as well. Lovely area and lovely property. They are remodeling their Spa and Restaurant (which is due to move back on-property before Christmas). The inn is historic, so not totally quiet (can hear train faintly from across the river and in-room mini-fridge made noises during the night.

Perfect spot perfect place not much more to add

Beware! No internet service and very limited cell phone service. Room was disjointed and not clean. We checked out after one night ( 2 night reservation) and front desk promised a refund for 1 night but renigged on giving the refund. Spa was closed, restaurant on property was closed

Grounds are beautiful

It is just one of those special get-away places. The gardens and property are Monet-like and the food at Henry's as well as the breakfast in the morning are very satisfying. Staff is friendly, easy to engage and care about your visit. We stayed in Sage Left. Bed is comfortable, room and bathroom ample.
