"Our favorite place to stay in Gainesville"

Sweetwater Branch Inn is a wonderful collection of rooms and cottages. It's our preferred place to stay whenever we are in Gainesville. It's within walking distance to downtown Gainesville, and just a few miles from the trailhead for the Gainesville-Hawthorne trail (great for bicycling). We always stay at one of the cottages because we like the privacy of having a place to ourselves. All the cottages we've stayed at have a full well-stocked kitchen, and either a walk-in shower or bath and shower. The beds are wonderful, and the cottages are well-stocked with blankets and towels. The cottages are also uniquely decorated with antiques which give the cottages a cozy, lived-in feel. Breakfast is included with the room or cottage, and they are great, satisfying meals.
