Gardens and brickwork are not well maintained. Railings and decking damaged or failing. Bathroom vanity fixtures loose

Adorable room and grounds. The hot tub was perfect and the breakfast delicious.

We selected the room we did for the privacy and even put out a do not disturb sign. The cleaners still attempted to come into the room while we were still sleeping. I then had to get up and talk to them and they seemed to not know that we had the room for another day. They came back and left equipment out in yard after we had closed the gate. It was a little frustrating, but overall we enjoyed our stay and will stay here again.

Relaxing, peaceful and very private

Great place to stay in Santa Barbara.

This is our 4th visit to the Secret Garden. The courtyard where you can eat breakfast is absolutely beautiful with all the flowers blooming. Breakfast was delicious with very fluffy croissants, fruit, quiche, fresh baked bread like pumpkin bread, and coffee and tea. The rooms are charming.

Breakfast lovely, homemade and fresh produce, asked our likes and dislikes was a lovely touch. Room had lots of nice little touches, owner had really taken care and attention to making each room individual and was very welcoming and knowledgeable about local area.

Room was comfortable, however very warm if air conditioning on, and air conditioner unable to be used if curtains drawn meant privacy was limited when the window backed on to the car park and other houses
