Super 8 by Wyndham Gilman

Nothing. It is a run down motel and needs significant remodeling.

Appearance, front desk, staff members (non supportive and not helpful at all), parking facility and tiny canopy.

The Super 8 in Gilman has nothing super about it. The staff was nice enough, but the rooms are severely overpriced for the status of the rooms. I asked to move rooms once arrived due to uncleanliness. Carpets and sheets were dirty and stained. (Found what google classifies as a bedbug stain on our sheets) Drywall remnants were all along the baseboards. Spider webs with living spiders. Urine on the toilet, literal pools and drips. Nail clippings in the microwave cubby. Food/candy wrappers and dropped candy all along the bed frame. Dust everywhere and dingy must and mildew smell. And no elevator so if you’re traveling heavy and with kids, and stay on the 2nd floor, you have to lug all your luggage up a flight of stairs. I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me to stay.

I asked for a queen size bed. And I’m pretty sure it was a full sized bed. But other than that it was alright

The rooms were old styled but comfortable.

Price is good. Safe. Bed was lumpy. Shower somewhat weak but water was hot

It was nice and clean

The breakfast selection was horrible, the attendant was indifferent and we ended up going to a restaurant for some food. The TV in our room was also very poor.

Good basic lodging option with comfortable bed, good wifi, fridge & microwave. Convenient to train station, restaurants, gas stations and interstate highway.

There was nothing bad about this hotel it's okay. You do get what you pay for. The woman who checked me in was very nice but also very busy, she was cleaning rooms, doing laundry, and doing the register seems like a lot to ask of one employee. Another employee arrived after I was checked in. No soap in the bathroom, no coffee cups.
