Les Sables Noirs & Spa

We were given a key that did not fit the lock. It took the hotel 20 minutes to fix while we had to stand next to the door. Additionally no soap products in the room. They gave them to me at reception when I asked and they apologized. Still for the price we are paying this is a bit annoying . Couch has many big stains.

Perfect location right at the beautiful beach. Nice own hotel beach with more space between the chairs than typical. Beach facing south-west with beautiful sunset. Room refurnished in grand style, very thoughtful, nicely furnished and practical. Very clean. Our room was huge. Nice balcony also. Nice pool with views of the vulcano. Good breakfast. People warm hearted. In 5 min walking distance to the town. Restaurants by the beach close by (50 meters) with nice cuisine and pizza. Thank you management and team. We had a fantastic stay!

Prices in the rooftop bar too high compared to surroundings.

Great location and views, however incredibly overcrowded communal areas during the day (pool oversubscribed, reception cluttered with early arrivals). The room was spacious however incredibly damp and humid, noticeable on every wall. Air-con was in the room but basically didn’t condition the rooms to the point where going outside in 28 degrees was more refreshing than being inside. Both nights sleep were terrible

Everything! All the staff were very nice and friendly. The room was super clean and comfortable. We got very lucky that they upgraded us to the suite with fabulous view! We were so happy! Everything was perfect. We also tried the sushi restaurant and it was delicious and the service was great too. The shuttle service to the port was much appreciated since it was so hot outside. Wish we stayed longer. It was an AMAZIN stay!

I would like to say hotels.com is a complete disgrace. I’ve emailed them and tried chatting to the AI and also a live person on booking was promised three things, Seaview Bottle o f wine and a hotel with a pool neither were available no compensation no answers no nothing I can’t blame the hotel. I must blame hotels.com because of falce advertisement they Take money from customers and don’t get back to them.

Spotlessly clean. Our suite had direct beach access, extra friendly staff. Incredibly tranquil in early June.

We forgot to mention the AC wasn’t adequate so they didn’t get a chance to fix it, we had 2 hot sleepless nights. Also there were issues with the drains which created a slight damp smell which hotel was aware of and apparently were dealing with. The hotel exterior needs a pressure wash and a lick of paint but overall we were happy

Staff were extremely brilliant. We were welcomed by Roberta. For breakfast Julia was simply fantastic as she spoke and understood little English. She prepared vegan coffee and served us with vegan milk for tea coffee. Pedro at reception was also very helpful. The resort grounds were fragrant with Jasmine and rosemary. Our room was comfortable There was ample space in the bathroom drawers to store our products. Beds and pillow comfortable

Toiletries were not of good quality and no body lotion provided. Very few options for vegetarian or vegan. We could only have bread and butter jams and very small selection of fruits.

The hotel needs renovation to make it a better option. Ok breakfast

Clean and well-maintained property located right on possibly the only sandy beach in the Aeolian Islands. Less than 10 minutes walking distance to the port and restaurants.
