Econo Lodge Valdosta Mall Area

Booked a room the morning of and got a confirmation email , showed up to hotel at 8pm after working 14 hours restoring power in the area due to the hurricane and the clerk told me our room had been canceled and they were overbooked. Nothing else was available nearby and we had to drive 80 minutes to find somewhere to sleep .

I didn't like it. Would not stay there again.

My family was visiting for a funeral and we chose this hotel for their stay. They enjoyed their stay and complimented their stay.

Spacious room, staff moved us to first floor to commodate handicap need. Very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely a good value for lower priced hotel.

One of the more well maintained econo lodges. I entered the room which had ac on and cool. Bed was comfortable and the whole room and bath room was very clean. Had coffee in room and super plus had irm and board. I needed to iron my clothes to head to conference. Will stop here next time enroutwnbetween Atlanta and orlando

Room had bad odor when we walked in. Bed, itself, was dirty with fresh blood stain on upper right corner of fitted sheet. Mattress pad had yellow stain. No mattress protector. Little black specks and a couple brown rice shaped "things" on upper seam of mattress, itself. Bathroom.floor was dirty and it appeared a dark blood or burn stain was in the middle of the floor. Hard to tell since light was so bad in bathroom. The baseboards were filthy with dirty water stains splashed above the baseboard itself. We did not stay. Left and found another hotel.

Room was very clean, the over headlights did not work. Did not care for the green carpet in the hall had an odor to it.

Terrible breakfast and the room was freezing

Hair in the beds. Stains on the floor, walls, bedspreads. Stains on the ceiling. Bugs in the lights. Broken light. Generally just dirty.

The room didn’t have the lamp plugged into the outlet that turns on with the switch, alarm clock and microwave didn’t have their correct times set, TV wasn’t hooked up to the cable, telephone didn’t have buttons to call to the front desk and wasn’t plugged in. We were told that the pool closed at 9:00 instead of 10:00 without it being posted. Front desk clerk was dressed inappropriately (no uniform) but was nice. The breakfast bar didn’t have any tea bags or hot chocolate although they had hot water… The bed and the pillows were comfortable but lacked extra blankets should we have needed them.
