Villa Forest View - No: 50/17

We liked our welcoming host and the great dinner and breakfast that he made for us. He was very kind and gave us good information. We were amazed by the stunning view the place has.

We just had a short transit stay. It is good situated in a quiet area around Kandy. We didn't knew they have an own little restaurant at the roof top. Don't miss to eat there. .the view is amazing.

The view from the room and the top terrace was beautiful, private and tranquil. Anjana was super friendly and welcoming. He went out of his way to make me feel at home and was flexible with check in and checkout times. They helped me do some laundry and cooked up a delicious vegan breakfast. I'd without a doubt stay again next time I'm in Kandy.

The shower wasn't very hot and the water pressure was very weak.

Very nice homestay! The room has a very beautiful view. Hosts were very, very helpful! We really enjoyed breakfast and also had excellent dinner there.

Villa Forest View is a lovely family run establishment located in the peaceful and serene neighborhood of Uplands in Kandy. There are just 3 spacious rooms. At least two rooms (unsure about the third) have unrestricted views of the forest canopy, the surrounding hills and Kandy. The view and the sunsets are to die! Villa Forest View has an incredible open terrace on the top floor with scenery that goes on forever. The proprietors/owners are an adorable couple who will make you feel welcome and patiently answer all your questions. They also employ a lovely young woman who greeted me when I first arrived and who helps keep the place spotless. For a modest fee, they will provide car service if you want to go somewhere special. Or if you prefer a tuk tuk, it was easy to arrange. I don’t have PickMe but the owners do and they called a tuk tuk for me. My room was AMAZING. So beautiful, with AC, hot water and a TV which I did not need or use. Lots of lights and outlets, too. In the morning you can hear tons of birds melodiously chirping in the forest. You can buy breakfast for a reasonable price which I HIGHLY recommend as it was very filling and delicious and you get to enjoy it on the rooftop terrace. Other meals can also be arranged. If you are looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to break your journey, you will not regret a stay at Villa Forest View.

Every thing was nice during my stay. Beautiful and peaceful place to stay in Kandy. The scenery and kind host give more charm to this place.

If I could give more than 10/10 I would! Staff is super nice and welcoming The owner Anjana was truly kind and organized us a trip to Sigirya and a cooking class with his lovely wife Amazing view of Kandy Room very nice and super clean To us location was perfect since it's out of noisy Kandy but close to the center (10 minutes top by tuktuk)
