It was a homeless hotel for bums

Well...where do I start? So I went on priceline to get a room after my vehicle decided to break down as I needed to wait on my vehicle to be fixed before I could go anywhere. I quickly realized it was Memorial Day weekend and I wasn't going to find much as everything in the area was booked solid and what wasn't booked was beyond ridiculously priced. So this place was decently located but ended up costing me $300 for 2 nights unfortunately. I was stranded until my vehicle was fixed so I didn't really have an option. I get to the motel after almost not even being able to find it because the signage for the place is almost non existent. I go to check in and get hit with the fact there's going to be $150 deposit. NOWHERE in the description on Priceline, in the confirmation of booking and in the need to know/ facts about your reservation area does it say anything about a deposit being required. It does state that your booking is "fully" prepaid. Maybe their definition of fully prepaid and mine differ. The room was dark and suffocating with almost no light whatsoever, weak water pressure and lets not forget the roommates they don't mention called cockroaches. I found them in the desk drawer, the mini fridge and in the bathroom. the a/c did work ok I guess. Upon finding roaches in the room the following day I tried to call the office but the room phone didn't work and I was to tired to walk all the way to the office as I would be checking out in like 8 hours. With the roaches and the complete lack of cleanliness I was just so grossed out and disgusted. Upon checking out and letting them know about the roaches they weren't surprised and gave me a kinda oh well vibe. I would never stay here again I should've just slept in my car. Safety is not that great as the room door didn't feel very secure once locked. It felt like a strong wind could blow it right open.

The room itself was large and somewhat updated. But the shower was dirty and had cracked moldy tiles. The shower was poorly designed with a little step up and the curtain could not prevent the water from leaking all over the floor. The toilet had flushing issues (I had to hold down the flusher). Outside the room door, the walkway on the second floor was uneven and very dirty. The AC unit was very loud.
