Mook Paradise Bungalow

U-sa was very friendly and made us very welcome. The location is peaceful and overlooking a pleasant and quiet bay. The accommodation was very comfortable and we enjoyed breakfast on the cool patio one morning. It was a nice walk into the centre and only a short walk to Charlie Beach. We loved it and would stay there again if we were to visit Ko Mook another year.

Its has many windows which is amazing, but you have to keep closed because there is some action happening in the street.

We like everything we experienced on mook and especially love the hospitality of our host.

Would be nice if we can rent bikes from our host.

Me and my friends only stayed 1 night but thanks to the nice owner we would have loved to stay longer. She was really helpful and lovely. She organized Taxi-Drives, recommanded Restaurants and even kept us campany at the pier when we had to wait an hour for aur delayed speed boat. We also got complimentary fruits after our short trip to the Emerald Caves.

Clean and affordable place.

Very nice Bungalow with spacious outdoor seating area. Picked this unit because of previous reviewers praising the clean modern units (and I would agree 100%). Slept good, even with a few soi dogs barking or howling occasionally in the middle of the night. The unit was very close to a fishing beach, which we knew would not be good for swimming, but was interesting to see especially at sunrise. There was some heavy machines repairing the sand road to the fishing boat area in the mornings, which was a bit disturbing. Generally we would walk to Charly beach to swim, rent kayaks or see the sunset. Or you could take a small tuktuk for 50 baht each anywhere on the island.

Not a resort, just two lovely, spacious and clean bungalows owned by a very kind lady. She helped us with our travel plans and even gave us some fruit on our first day as a ‘welcome’. She can also help with tours. Bungalow cleaned every day, fresh towels, beds made and some new drinking water. The bungalow is near the water, but it isn’t much of a beach. It’s better to go to Charlie Beach which is a quick 5 minutes away on a motorbike (which you can also rent at the property). All in all we had a really good stay and would definitely recommend!

When we were there there weren’t any mosquito screens in the bathroom. But the owner said she’s going to fix that in the coming week or so.
