Been to Bitacora about 5 times and would definitely return again. It’s fantastic for children, with a brilliant pool area, kids club and park. Plenty of choice food wise, even for fussy eaters like my children. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The children’s entertainment team are amazing, they have so much enthusiasm and time making sure they do different activities with the children. Santiago in the restaurant is also fantastic and very welcoming and gives out lolly’s to the children which they look forward to every evening. The rooms are also very spacious. A brilliant hotel.

Very modern hotel with stunning views from pool view rooms. Generally we stay in Costa Adeje La Pinta Beachfront Family hotel and GF Victoria. We like that area but about 3-4 years ago we stayed in Spring Hotel Bitacora in Playa De Las Americas twice with my now 6 year old who was only a toddler then. It is due to my 6 year old that we decided to come back because he remembered this hotel and has been asking to come back and are currently staying here now. We've booked both direct through the hotel and through third party Jet2 a different times. We've had both Ocean rooms with terrace and balcony and standard pool-view rooms. Both rooms are similar size but the Ocean rooms with extra terrace and outdoor shower gave extra outdoor space which was appreciated when my adult son joins us and comes on holiday with us and there are 4 of us staying. Currently there is just the 3 of us, myself, my 6 year old and my mum (mu husband snd adult son at home wishing they were here!). We initially were given room 240 which was a lovely room but the lovely staff at reception knew we like our views so at the discretion of the hotel got moved to room 426 on a higher floor with out of this world stunning views. Only observation of the rooms is that they are modern but they are smallish but adequate although limited space for suitcases/clothes if there are 4 of you. The staff here have been brilliant with my son, hes extremely shy but enjoying the interactions they have with him especially the buffet restaurant staff. The food is delicious and so much to choose from we are spoilt. We are all inclusive and find its very convenient and the pool-side cafe is lovely and relaxing to sit in and take in the pool views. The pools are beautiful and the waterslides fantastic. They have an amazing park, one of the best, if not the best we've seen and my son loves it. Theres a small soft play and water sprinkler area too. What brought us back to this hotel are the views, the childrens facilities and the delicious food as well as it looks well and love all the vibrant modern colours. It's also close to a number of beautiful beaches, walks and amenities. The Fun Bar looks amazing and we've been enjoying the entertainment in it every night, the animation team are very talented and great with the kids.
