Haemer Villa Green Hearth Stay

Travelled with our medium-sized dog for 2 nights. They were so welcoming to him! There's a great grassy area, and they provided a water bowl. Seeing other happy pets there too was nice. A truly stress-free pet-friendly stay.

A villa é bonita, com uma área ajardinada agradável para relaxar. O check-in foi tranquilo e Minh respondeu rapidamente às mensagens. A minha cama estava limpa e tinha uma cortina de privacidade.

O cacifo era demasiado pequeno para a minha mochila, por isso tive de a deixar no chão. Além disso, o escoamento da casa de banho partilhada era um pouco lento, o que fazia com que ficasse uma pequena poça após cada duche. Aceitável para uma breve paragem em Hoi An.

To mesto je očarljivo zatočišče. Vrt je čudovit, sobe so čiste, osebje pa je storilo vse, da mi je bivanje bilo čim bolj udobno. Lokacija je idealna za raziskovanje Hoi Ana. Toplo priporočam njihovo storitev prevoza iz Da Nanga – brez težav in po ugodni ceni.

Spent 2 perfect nights here. The pool is an oasis, the room was spotless, and every staff member greeted us with a smile. The free bicycle rental let us explore Hoi An easily. A fantastic, peaceful base just outside the bustle of the town.

Ich habe hier drei Nächte verbracht und mich rundum sicher und willkommen gefühlt. Der Schlafsaal ist mit einer Schlüsselkarte gesichert, und obwohl die Schließfächer im Zimmer klein sind, reichen sie für Reisepässe und Wertsachen völlig aus. Das Personal, darunter auch weibliche Mitarbeiterinnen, war immer anwesend und zugänglich. Das Hostel hat eine respektvolle, freundliche Atmosphäre – es ist kein Party-Hostel, was ich sehr schätzte. Im Garten habe ich leicht andere Alleinreisende kennengelernt. Die Lage in einem echten Wohnviertel fühlte sich sicher an, selbst wenn man nachts zurückging (gut beleuchtete Hauptstraße).

Das kostenlose Frühstück ist zu einfach, um sich darauf zu verlassen. Aber das sind nur Kleinigkeiten. Das Besondere war wieder einmal das Personal. Als ich mir bezüglich eines Motorradreiseveranstalters unsicher war, rief ein Mitarbeiter persönlich einen Freund an, der Touren veranstaltet, um für mich die Sicherheit und faire Preise zu überprüfen. Diese persönliche Note und die Sorge um mein Wohlergehen waren unglaublich. Sehr empfehlenswert!

The place itself is a proper traditional villa with a really peaceful garden – perfect for a morning cuppa. The dorm was tidy enough, though the two shared bathrooms could do with a more frequent clean when it’s busy; ran out of loo roll once. Beds are fine, but the privacy curtains are a bit on the short side. Location’s a plus – it’s in a dead quiet local area, about a 15–20 minute stroll from the Ancient Town, which I actually liked. Felt more like the real deal. Now, the real story – on my second day I went down with a proper bad stomach, probably from something I ate out. Felt rotten and was slumped in the common area. Minh, who runs the place, spotted me straight away. Not only did he fish out the right meds from his own kit, but later his wife brought me a bowl of homemade rice porridge to my bunk and told me to eat up. They checked in on me all evening and wouldn’t hear of taking any extra money. For a budget dorm stay, that sort of kindness is really something special. Yeah, a few things could be smarter – the bunk ladder’s a bit wobbly and one of the drains is slow. But honestly, the staff’s warmth and decency completely made up for it. Would stay again just for that.
