Super 8 by Wyndham Redfield

The room was clean, comfortable and it had everything that I needed for my stay.

It was a perfect stay at Redfield.

It wasn’t very clean and it’s old for the pricing

Quiet and clean room. Could use some updating.

Staff friendly. That’s a plus. Apparently however, management/ ownership is not motivated to make needed repairs or maintenance to insure safety of guests, or insure an enjoyable stay. One of the reasons I made the reservation was because on line it listed the motel as pet friendly. When I arrived I found a sign on the check in desk stating there was an $20 per day fee. I felt this was an unfair charge taking advantage of travelers at the last minute. The extra charge should have been on the web site or advised during on line check in. When I mentioned it I pretty much just got a shrug from the gentleman at the check in desk. The hotel is advertised as non smoking but reeks of cigarette smoke. The toilet b( room 123 ) barely flushes water which is apparently known to management because there is a sign on it asking you to hold down the handle until the water goes all the way down. I ended up using a gas station restroom across the street. Taking a shower the steam wouldn’t clear because the vent was so packed with dust and dirt there was no air flow. One morning I went into the bathroom to find water ( or something ) leaking through the ceiling from the bathroom above onto all the clean towels and running down the wall. I notified the lady at the desk who was very apologetic and said she would clean and sanitize the bathroom. At the end of the day I came back and true to her word the bathroom was cleaned and new towels put in but the shower curtain was gone. More but no room

A good place to stay for a business trip.. quiet and easy access.. plus a gas station and 2 eating fast food establishments within a couple minutes walk.

Helpful staff, clean room, and dining within walking distance.
