April Point Resort

Loved the location. We saw seals, eagles, and more! The property definitely needs some updating. Overall a lovely stay

The view from our King suite was amazing. The property itself was very charming but seemed like it needed a bit of a facelift to freshen things up.

Office closed at 8pm and couldn’t access lobby for ice after that. Rooms had no usb plugins and were quite dated. Water on site is not drinkable, although free bottled water was provided. Dining room was fully booked so we couldn’t have dinner there. Although the dining room was virtually empty, the front advised us that they only had one server on so they had closed most of the dining area. This was a Saturday night on a long weekend so that seemed a little odd. I’m assuming they were just short staffed.

I wanted to order the more expensive breakfast, but they only had the continental breakfast. A mistake was pretty bad, they tried to charge my credit card three times even though my credit card was already charged before check-in. I had to clarify this mistake with a telephone conversation, that was quite expensive for me because it's a Swiss phone number and I had to wait a very long time on the phone

It’s a beautiful location, quiet and secluded. They need to let folks know that it is a bit inaccessible for folks with limited mobility. We did not have a problem but the walk from the parking lot to the rooms could be challenging for some folks.

The view is amazing. We always have a great time with April who runs the restaurant! Second year back and will go next year again!
