Harmony Motel

We normally stay at chain hotels, and the appearance from the road made us wonder if we made the right choice staying here. There is a tall metal fence around most of the property, I'm guessing to keep the road noise down. Once we walked through the entrance, the grounds were absolutely beautiful and very well kept. A pool, hot tub, and immaculate desert gardens! Our room had a king-size bed, a fully stocked kitchen, a walk-in shower, air conditioning, and heat. Not the modern decor you find in chain motels, but everything was extremely clean and in working order. The location is very close to the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. The owner was welcoming, showed us to our room, and made sure we had everything we needed for a great overnight stay.

The bed, while very comfortable, squeaked. I would still stay here again because everything else about this place was wonderful! A gem in the desert!

I recently stayed at the Harmony Motel in late April 2026 while visiting Joshua Tree National Park, and the experience was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, Ash provided a warm welcome and a thorough introduction to the property, immediately setting the tone for a memorable stay. During our visit, we enjoyed breathtaking views of both the full moon and a stunning desert sunrise. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the pool and hot tub offered the perfect spaces to relax and unwind after a day exploring the park. As someone visiting from the Carolinas, I felt the Harmony Motel perfectly captures the charm, tranquility, and sense of wonder that define the American West. We genuinely could not have chosen a better place to stay near Joshua Tree. I enthusiastically recommend the Harmony Motel to anyone visiting Twentynine Palms or the surrounding area. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Ash deserves special recognition as well. Her warmth, attentiveness, and care for the property made our stay exceptional from start to finish.

Le motel est à seulement 10 min de l'entrée de Joshua Tree. Ce qui est idéal pour une visite matinale. La studio était vraiment très propre et très bien équipé. Nous n'y avons fait qu'un bref passage car nous sommes arrivés en début de soirée et partis tôt le matin pour éviter les fortes chaleurs du désert mais nous avons pu malgré tout profiter de la piscine et du jacuzzi. De plus, les extérieurs sont très agréables.h

La climatisation est assez bruyante.

Loved how spacious the room was and where the property was located. This spot made it so convenient to get to Joshua tree. My favorite thing was the kitchen, stocked with cooking supplies and made me feel like I was back at home. Very nice owner and looking forward to booking this spot again in the future!!

Roomy accommodations. Comfortable pool and hot tub area. The property is on the western edge of town, so less bustle but still convenient to restaturants and national park entrance.
