Good Medicine Lodge

The innkeepers were really helpful and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was very good and all the added extras (fridge of cold drinks, hot drinks, snacks and homemade biscuits and cake), were lovely touches. The lodge is situated within walking distance of Whitefish town centre.

Although our room was adequate, it was classed as a deluxe king room, so we were expecting more. We felt it was small and other than one hard wooden chair, there was nowhere to sit. Having said that, there were two public lounges in the lodge. For your future guests booking through Booking.com (or at least not via your website) it would be REALLY helpful when accepting the booking, that you advise that vehicle reservations are needed for Glacier NP. This was the reason we booked our trip and had no idea until a month before when we started our itinerary planning and looked at your website, that these were needed. If we’d known at the time of booking, we could have purchased them when the 120 day window was open, rather than the panic and scramble at 7pm the night before. We were lucky but we heard others were not. I’m sure future guests would really appreciate this.

Amazing cozy place with an amazing service!

I am NOT a B&B fan (prefer hotels) but my wife convinced me to stay here. It was fabulous! Proximity to Glacier was the big draw but the service and friendliness of the host and crew made all the difference.

Everything was exceptional! The beds are so incredibly comfortable, the management was warm and welcoming, and the breakfasts and snacks were delicious! The room was well equipped and comfortable, and there are ample amenities on site.

This is the best place to stay in montana! An absolute hidden gem. The food is incredible and the staff are so nice! If you love beer, wine, food and a comfortable stay that has every amenities you could want then this is for you!!! And they have homemade cookies, and a snack bar available 24/7 for free.

The Good Medicine Lodge was the perfect location and the breakfasts were delicious! The staff was very kind and helpful. We added an extra night to our stay. Would definitely stay there again if we were visiting Whitefish.
