"We loved our stay but the hotel needs a can do manager on the floor. Don’t look behind the scenes. A great little local"

Quiet location, great little balcony, bracing plunge pool, fresh local food

Hard to get the staff to go above & beyond - not my usual experience of basic hotel hospitality - without pressing them to think beyond their job. Eg I’m only the reception desk, you have to ask at the bar. Could you freeze our bottled water?- no. Could we eat outside by the pool at the tables ? No, eat in the bar. Could we have a drink - no use the vending machine, the bar is closed.
