Great location, close to everything. Great breakfast. Very helpful staff.

Okay beds; Nice hot sauna; Affordable parking across the street; Breakfast was good, but not great.

Everything in this hotel was a bit average and didn't meet our expectations for a 4-star hotel. Dressing room for the sento "skyspa" was uncomfortably small and the water wasn't warm enough.

"Wel ogend, maar weinig prakisch comfort voor zo’n prijzige overnachting"

Het oogst bij binnenkomst heel lux en schoon. De bedden waren goed om te slapen. Het ligt centraal dicht bij restaurants, winkels en chinatown. Er zijn wasmachines en drogers voor heel weinig. Het personeel was vriendelijk en zelfs heel behulpzaam bij het boeken van een taxi in een andere stad. De taxi is overigens komen opdagen, dus dat is later ook gelukt, dus dank daar voor.

We hadden tijdens onze vakantie de kamer opnieuw moeten boeken omdat er door Booking.com weer onopvallend een kind van 1 was ingevuld ipv 14, zodat ik tot grote ergenis weer meer moest betalen en dan ook zonder ontbijt. Voor zo’n prijs wordt je wel kritisch: er was in tegenstelling tot andere veel goedkopere hotels/appartementen, geen USB aansluiting in de kamer. Geen koffie en thee in de kamer. De kamer was erg klein voor een drie persoons, geen tafeltjes vanwege ruimtegebrek. Booking.com prijst “wellness” aan, maar wees in Japan er dan op bedacht dat het vaak om een Onsen gaat: een badhuis waar je naakt moet zijn en geen tattoo’s mag laten zien, anders moet je er stickers op plakken. Wel iets om rekening mee te houden. Van deze services wat wel in de prijs zit, hebben we daarom geen gebruik van gemaakt. Koelkast werkt niet goed met vriezer, dus geen ijsjes bewaren, zeggen ze. Twee flesjes water op de kamer terwijl we met drie zijn.

Very centrally located next to Chinatown, comfortable rooms with huge double beds but very little other space

I mistook the spa on the top floor for a swimming pool from the photos. It’s not. No bar or communal seating area to speak of.
