Hotel Frankenhöhe

i would advise to paint outside front wall of the hotel, because first impression is kind of "is it my hotel?"

Excellent location with easy access to the highway. Late arrival is no problem with the lock box system. Room was simple, but comfortable and the shower was great. It was also nice to have the shutters to block out the light in the morning.

It is very well located for transit travelers. Close to the highway but far enough so that you are far from the noise. Next to food chain restaurant and gas station. It offers very convenient self checkin

room on Ist floor with no lift. breakfast adverised as being served till 10:00 but they did not provide already at 09:00. big effort by staff to provide a cup of coffee. bed very soft. not supportive.

Das Hotel liegt zwar direkt neben dem Autohof aber mein Zimmer war hintenraus mit Super Ausblick. Der Check In war super und das Frühstück war sehr gut, lecker Brötchen,die besten die ich bis jetzt in einem Hotel bekommen habe.

Da ist noch Luft nach oben...vor Ort stellte ich fest, dass die Rezeption nicht besetzt ist, sondern ich eine Handynummer anrufen muss um einen Pin zu bekommen über den ich die Zimmerkarte erhalte. Info darüber oder gleich Pin per Mail hatte das Einchecken vereinfacht. Mit der Karte könnte ich eine Eingangstür öffnen, die andere war unverschlossen! NoGo! Die Info: "Barrierefreies Zimmer" ist nur eine Option für WG Zimmer oder nur auf die Zimmer an sich bezogen. Es gibt keinen Aufzug für das OG. Servicekontakt am Telefon war sehr freundlich, Zimmer einfach und sauber. Tankstelle und Mac direkt Gegenüber. Kein Romantikhotel oder zweckmäßig für eine autobahnnahe übernachtung

Das Hotel liegt auf dem Gelände eines Autohofes, direkt hinter dem Hotel kann man wunderschön über Felder spazieren gehen. Leider wird die Bundesstraße auch nachts intensiv genutzt, dadurch ist schlafen bei offenem Fenster nicht so komfortabel. Mein Zimmer war nicht mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war (coronabedingt) einfach, aber das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man bekommt auch zB Rührei frisch zubereitet. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt ist es okay, in meinen Augen kein Urlaubshotel.

Spartanisch, aber durchaus zweckmäßig. Für Kurzaufenthalte ideal. Würden jederzeit wieder dort einkehren.
