"The devil is in the details"

As you can tell by my review history I do not generally like to write negative reviews, but our latest stay at The Westin Bellevue was disappointing. The layout of the rooms are not well thought out and the room decor is very minimal for what you pay. The closet space is barely enough for one person with a two days stay - good luck if there are two of you and you want to stay for a week. But the most disappointing thing was that for all three days of our stay we had to look at the mess that the crew left behind. On a bright note: The staff is very friendly so this is not their doing, but certainly the management and ownership.

"Great stay at the Bellevue Westin"

Your 15 second review of the Bellevue Westin hotel. The good: up to Westin standards in every way: Clean, smaller but exceptionally well laid out functional rooms, free weekend self-parking, valet option, great west facing views in higher floor rooms, proximity to restaurants and bars, good value for the money. Very modern vibe. The opportunities: Some leadership coaching to the rather smug check-in staff in in order. No lounge for elite status guests but hey, free coffee in the lobby in the mornings. Finally, a wakeup call directed toward Marriott executive leadership on the Club Lounge topic. Sadly, I’ve seen a decline in recent years of the number of Marriott premium and luxury brands that either have closed club lounges or have transitioned to high priced “experience” lounges. Given all the cleaver revenue streams that Marriott solicits from its customers, eliminating/decreasing the club lounge experience for elite status is a put off your most loyal customers and gives us cause to consider other hotel options. Just sayn’…

"Don't waste your money"

Room was nice. Shower was great. Hotel was clean. Parking was great.

The fridge and TV did not work and I called and in the 4 days we were there no one fixed them. Staff was rude. They authorized 800 more than they were supposed to on my credit card. Room service website didn't work.
