La Quinta by Wyndham Batavia

Staff was friendly. The building looks new and well maintained. Rooms, sheets, bathroom were clean and well lit, shower with good pressure. Parking worked well for the U-Haul truck. We got two rooms and they gave us the connected ones.

Breakfast was ok (not bad, just ok).

Lisa in the Breakfast Buffet was the best. She made sure we had whatever we wanted and went above and beyond. Room was decent. Overall experience was good.

Good location. Close to highways and the center of Batavia. Typical hotel baked good/waffle maker breakfast.

Our room was on the same floor as the pool and gym, both of which were absolutely tiny. But my real problem was that the doors had zero slow close feature. Everytime someone walked through the door, it would slam shut.

Very clean. Superb staff.

Could use higher toilets. Seems every hotel in Batavia has low to the ground toilets.

The minute you walk in you are met with such a nice clean smell. Then you are greeted at the front desk with a smile and a friendly face. Amanda was very helpful and kind throughout our stay. Always said hello and asked how everything was going anytime we walked through the lobby. She definitely cares about the guests here and it shows. The rooms are so clean and beds extremely comfortable. Been to many Wyndham hotels and this is one of the best. The breakfast is good and the staff is always working hard. The pool is the perfect temperature and it’s been renovated and looks really nice. This property is very modern and kept up to date which shows the owner really cares for their business. We will return whenever back in the area, it has been a few years. Will tell friends and family to stay anytime they are in Batavia.
