This was our 1st visit to this hotel and apartments, and it won't be our last The hotel and apartments are situated in the beautiful lakeside town of Neuhaus/ Schliersee, which is a lovely little quiet and peaceful town, with wonderful views and back drops. We had a room in the main hotel building, facing the side.. The apartment was spacious, with a separate bedroom, a living area with a small kitchenette, a large bathroom, and a large balcony. Check-in was quick and easy, and Martin made us feel like part of the family, infact all staff we encountered made us feel so welcome, which enhanced our relaxing holiday experience. The breakfast well, WOW, AMAZING,so many different options all delivered to your table, if I remember right, there is about 8 different platters, from hams, cheese, cheese spreads, fish dishes, eggs and salad, fish options, fruit salads, yoghurts and local cake, served with a basket of bread/rolls, fruits juice, coffee and tea. The hotel, all in all, is lovely, and there are lots of walks to take in the scenery and a cable car to get you up the mountain for even more stunning views. There are plenty of good bars/restaurants in Neuhaus/Schliersee to choose from with the Slyrs Distillery and cafe right next door. There is a very reliable bus service which lets you see other towns / villages in the area, which you get free with your guest card from the hotel. There is an honesty bar in the basement, with a great selection of beer, wine, juice water, and snacks. Just list what you take, and this is then charged to your room. On arrival after a two hour flight and a 6 hour drive, Martin the owner greeted me with a very  warm and enthusiastic welcome which was warm and sincere. I requested an upgrade to a balcony room, of which he offered to show me 3 rooms, each of which were beautiful,  of which I settled for the apartment, overlooking the mountain view. Martin gave a great introduction and insight to the local village and local area and some of the places of interest, including the Bavarian whisky distillery at the rear of the property. The apartment was like a home from home and overall the Hotel was beautifully appointed and spotless. Breakfast was simply outstanding!  Fresh local produce served tapas style winning the day and the croissants or Danish pastries normally served with continental breakfasts replaced with fabulous fresh bread from the village bakery. Breakfast was table service, served efficiently and with a heartfelt enthusiasm. Martin was great at recommending local places to visit and restaurant recommendations were absolutely spot on with each place serving tasty quality Bavarian  dishes. Whatever your reason for visiting Hotel Hubertus, you will most certainly feel at home and have your expectations exceeded by Martin and his great team, but most of all it will be a relaxing and fulfilling experience, and one where you will long to return.

Breakfast was incredibly good with a huge amount of offerings.

Parking was tight.

Staff was friendly, kind, and thoughtful! Breakfast was fanstastic; I felt doted on. Room was clean and exceeded expectations.

Breakfast was unusual but plentiful. Bread, cold meats, cheeses, fruit, muesli, fish and other concoctionz.

Would have been nice to have a bar to socialise with other members of our party.
