Porto Bello Hotel Resort & Spa

By North American standard there really isn’t anything about this hotel that makes it a 5-star. The front desk attendant was very friendly & helpful, as were staff in the cafe. The room needed repairs (crack on ceiling, shower tiles broken, and loose wiring under shelf). We were given a 1st floor room and it was VERY noisy as it was so close to the main floor and staircase. Apparently when we book via Hotels, the don’t give us good rooms. The bedding was not comfortable and the pillows were definitely old. The food was not flavourful although there was a lot of variety - probably not well-suited to NA tastes. But 100% not 5-star. Yesterday, one of the coffee machines in main dining room was broken, today the toaster wasn’t there as it was broken and there was no one to make omelettes at the omelette bar even though breakfast has started 45 mins before we got there. Servers have to be flagged down to get drinks for you if you don’t appear to be local or from the region. If you are going for a beach break - Note the beach is all rocks and you will need water shoes. If you’re a smoker, you’ll love this place as there are people smoking all over it and all the time. Including in the rooms - so that we could smell it well into the night in our room. We had made a note that we wanted a no -smoking room but there was no acknowledgment of this prior or at check-in. Mini bar charged after day 1.

Everyday same food poor activity

The hotel is really nice and comfortable, staff are really friendly, food is great with lots of variety. Pool and beach are also amazing, beach is private only downside is that its not a sand beach though the water is crystal clear. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go there again

I would recommend this to anyone who wants value for money plus a bit more. Staff was perfect, hotel was perfect, location was perfect 30 mins from airport. Activities are available all over. Everything was worth it. 44£ to be driven around in a v class. You will feel like a celebrity.

Great hotel and location. Excellent food choices, snacks available throughout day and even midnight snack.

The drinks were very low quality. Beer was almost water. Due to flight delays, I missed the first night of my reservation but they did not agree to refund first night's fee.

Some staffers were Not polite Alkohol only Turkish

It was amazing! Nice stuff, excellent service and entertainment! Nice beach and pool! Food quality was perfect. We had a lovely time, full of fun!

Beautiful resort especially the main floor reception area. It’s clean and spacious. There’s lots of comfortable seating. The Turkish bath with the scrub and massage was excellent. The pool although big was very cold. It would have been nice if it was a bit heated. The buffet has a lot of options but repetitive for lunch and dinner. The only thing I found was that the entertainment was not the best. We were there for 5 days four nights and the same performer repeated her performance on two of those nights. Don’t get me wrong she was good but they could have changed it up a bit. Plus making us pay to play Bingo was silly especially since there were different prices for different people. I was charged one price and another of the entertainment staff offered another client 2 cards for less than what I paid for one card. That’s not right. First to charge in an all inclusive and second to charge different rates.

Interior of room/resort in general was dated. Customer relations staff hardly spoke any English.
