Hotel Villa Paradiso

Everything is perfect about this hotel, the staff, the location and the views from the sixth floor lounge. I would definitely stay here again. We had such a great time.

From the beginning this was a lovely stay. The staff is very helpful, the breakfast high quality and the location centrally located near excellent restaurants. The breakfast is offered in a lounge on the top floor that offers an breathtaking view of the sea and Mount Etna.

There walk to the center of town is uphill, but well worth it.

Nella camera c’era un display per il regolamento della temperatura della camera che si illuminava e spegneva continuamente, diventando fastidioso di notte visto che illuminava la camera di una luce azzurra abbastanza forte. Inoltre la porta del bagno era difettosa ossia non restava chiusa, si apriva continuamente e necessitava di essere chiusa a chiave o bloccata con qualcosa per tenerla chiusa.

We reserved two rooms (one for my wife and I and one for our daughter) through Expedia which the hotel confirmed. I then fell ill and we had to cancel the reservations; however, they confirmed the cancellation but only cancelled one of the reservations despite the fact that they were both booked together and in the same name. They then billed us the full amount for one of the rooms. I emailed them and they said that was their policy especially during their busy season. They refused to confirm that they were not able to re-rent the room and after two or three emails offered us a credit to be used within one year for about 10% of the cost billed to us. I informed them that we would not be able to go to Sicily in the next year and received no reply. On each occasion they were dismissive of or simply ignored anything we said re only cancelling one of the two linked reservations, ability to re-let the room etc. Customer service was in short nil and we wound up out a very large amount of money.

Wonderful room in this family run boutique hotel. Had such wonderful views of the Ionian Sea and Mt. Etna in our room that included a retractable roof. Great rooftop bar that we visited and just a great location.

The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The location is great to walk around the town. The included breakfast was very nice. View was amazing.

Right next to a road so a little noisy in our room. We were right on the corner so not sure if other rooms were quieter or not. A little bit of an older property, time for a redo.

The view from our room and balcony was so beautiful. We could see mount Etna and the sea. The location was superb. We could walk everywhere. We even walked to and back from Castelmola. Great views of Taormina all the way. Restaurants were plenty near by and really good. This November was unusually warm. I like to sleep in cool air, but the a/c was already switched to heat. The staff was very sweet and put a standing fan into our room. The shower was great with awesome water pressure. The lighting in the bathroom was okay. The staff were wonderful! Breakfast room was on the 6th floor with amazing views. You could choose to sit inside or outside. The food was okay. In the evening the rooftop became a wonderful bar with a great atmosphere. Delicious drinks, good music and wonderful staff. The bar food was delicious. A perfect place to end a busy day of discovering Taormina.

The pillows were too firm for our taste. We wish, 2 of the four pillows were softer. Breakfast could have been better.
