Lokatie. Zeer mooie Levada wandeling in hoger gelegen dorp. Parkeren bij de kerk en je kan een vrij vlak rondje lopen van ongeveer 7 km.

Heel vreemd open zwembad /sauna beneden in de hal.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! We had a beachfront room on the second floor, and as the weather was beautiful, we had the windows wide open while we were there, allowing the beach sounds and smells to drift in. Ponta do Sol is a fantastic little town, in a spectacular setting, with trails coming in from each side. We were gutted we only had the 1 night there, as it would've been quite easy to fill in another day or two. As it is, the hotel location is perfect for doing the popular Levada do Moinha hike, as the start is only a few kms away, uphill. The included breakfast is one of the best we've had on Madeira so far, with a wide variety of both hot and cold dishes. We made use of the gym, which is pretty small and basic, but were still able to get in a suitable chest/triceps workout. There is an indoor pool next to the open gym, which looked great (and was popular), however we didn't use it. One of the better things about the hotel, which we were unaware of until we were there, is the rooftop relaxation area. There are various chairs and couches there, some in the open, and some undercover, but all with a fantastic view over the neighbouring roofs and ocean. Free parking is available in the underground carpark. Having completed our tour of the island of Madeira, this hotel is the stand-out choice of all our accommodation options, and as I mentioned previously, is the one that we really wish we'd had another night or two to spend at!

Some more gear in the gym would be nice, and maintenance on the gear you have (eg. the multi-function machine) would also be appreciated!

Le personnel est toujours souriant, prêt à aider. L’emplacement est top face à la mer.

Le wifi est très mauvais et le parking trop petit et étroit.

Hôtel idéalement placé en front de mer, chambre grande et confortable avec très bon lit. Petit déjeuner excellent et très copieux ! Personnel adorable et un plus pour le parking privé sous l'établissement.

Un mini-bar frais mais vide et une cafetière Nespresso serait la bienvenue.
