Staying at Cherokee Lodge in Coronado felt like stepping into a peaceful Victorian style retreat. The vintage charm, serene garden, and cozy atmosphere made it easy to relax, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It’s a quiet, beautiful place that leaves you feeling rested and cared for. The staff was amazing even when we initially have key entry issues it was resolved immediately. So I look forward to coming back.

We love this place!! 4th time staying. We brought family with us this time. They loved it, and they are coming back next year with us. Very clean and safe. Fresh bagels, pastry, tea, coffee and cold water in the morning, and warm cookies at night. Close to the zoo and many attractions. The island is beautiful with restored old buildings and flower beds everywhere. Walk to the downtown quaint shopping area. Panera Bread, Ice cream shops. Great pizza place nearby. Easy to get around the island. Pete's Seafood is the best fried seafood restaurant in San Diego -$ $ 15 minutes away. The beaches are beautiful. We live in Arizona and can't wait till we go back to visit. Best deal on the island.

The location is absolutely perfect! It is in the heart of Coronado, you can park your car and forget it for the weekend, just walking or biking everywhere! Yet, the neighborhood is so quiet! The property is beautiful, well maintained and has character. Everyone was so nice and accomodating! We were 3 young girls and felt super safe. The snacks and bottled waters were amazing to have available throughout the weekend. They have everything you might need for the beach (chairs, towels, toys for the kids) and 3 bikes to go around (on first come first serve basis). We will absolutely book again and will tell everyone about this gem!

If we really have to be picky, we would say adding nice full frame mirror to the rooms (we were in 2 different rooms during our stay, nothing due to the property's fault but booking error) - 3 girls getting ready for dinner with a little wall mirror was a little tricky. Otherwise, everything PERFECT!

Location was perfect. We could have walked to the beach but there were signs on the beach advising not going in the water so we had to drive to a different beach. Breakfast was good.

The bathroom was not in the room it was down the hall, not far at all, but not convenient especially when you have to get up during the night. The bathroom was very narrow, no ventilation, only an exhaust fan. The toilet was right next to the door. Really only room for one person at a time. We had a party of 4 so it was tight. The bathroom was very clean, loved the robes!!

Gorgeous exterior! Yes, stop and smell the roses. :) Room #11 is a comfy, larger room with private bath. Very convenient to Coronado Island businesses. WiFi included with cable TV. Appreciated the bottled water! Worth the convenience of location, quite neighborhood and yet very close in walking distance to Orange Ave businesses. Delicious chocolate chip cookies and other packaged baked goods in the hallway nook.

Room 11 is noisy with guests coming and going. I only met the onsite personnel once when I was turning in my keys... and it was very brief.

It has pretty bad smell, breakfast pretty poor, you can say there is no breakfast. And I ordered another room with 2 beds, bud there was only one bed, it can be issues from booking
