Sheraton Myrtle Beach

The facility was great. The front desk manager helped me with my Bonvoy account. The restaurant floor mgr so organized and welcoming.

I had racked up a nice good pile of Bonvoy points and decided to see what, if anything, I could spend them on for a quick family week to Myrtle Beach. Since, it can be difficult booking for points at a beach resort in the middle of the summer, my expectations were low but when I found this Sheraton a few blocks off the beach, it looked like a go. The property is located very conveniently to everything with most destinations a short easy car ride away. This also helps with keeping the immediate area a little quieter than the main strip. Check in was smooth and we were upgraded to a ocean view room, not much, but honestly more than expected on a points booking. Lobby was clean and open, hallways were clean and well lit. Oddly, the elevator lobbies were all very hot and humid. Our room was a good size, very clean, save for an overly dusty HVAC vent in the bathroom. All staff we encountered were helpful and professional. One slight issue was that over the week, there were two days where housekeeping never arrived to clean/remake our room. Being a convention hotel, there were many kids in the building attending various competitions/conventions, but we experienced no issues with noise etc. Overall a very solid stay and a good option if you are not completely pressed on staying right on the sand.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was extremely nice. It was clean, in a safe area, the restaurant was nice, and it was in a good distance from the beach/boardwalk.

I had a really great stay at the Sheraton. It was near enough to the beach to walk on a nice day. I also loved the ocean-front view from my room. Breakfast was good. I suggest putting the croissants and pastries somewhere away from the toaster. I walked in just as someone's croissant was on fire inside. They had to put a sign, asking people to not toast the croissants and pastries. Perhaps if those items were away from the toaster people won't be tempted. The pool is indoors and only 3 feed deep. It's small, but it suited my needs. The only downside is when it's as hot as it was the day I used it, it can get pretty steamy with the sun shining through the windows and the humidity being really high. As soon as I dried off I wanted to go back into the pool. Phew! Kilwins Ice Cream was yum. The only other thing to keep in mind is that the parking deck is difficult to access when you have to scan your card. It would be nice if there was a way to pull straight in, and not have to maneuver the car or open the door and step out to use the card. It's also a long walk outside from the parking deck to the hotel. There is no direct access from the inside of the hotel. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

Nothing, it’s an absolute POS and it’s kept really dirty and the staff is unbelievably unhelpful. The manager is a 17 year old carrot top with a napoleon dynamite complex

Our room hadn’t been cleaned there was hairs in the bathroom and stains on the floor, bath tub was dirty and the carpet had sand and crap everywhere then next day insects in the pillows and the staffs answer $50 credit on $1200 stay, absolutely ridiculous

Location is perfect, will recommend to others.

Everything was organized, I have no complaints.
