Belle Aire Mansion Guest House

Cass and Steve,and her sister are lovely people. The accommodations were very comfy, and the breakfast delicious. Our hosts were very nice, and treated us like longtime friends. We will go back for sure!

The stairs were hard for my friend, so next time we will request the little cabin.

The house was beautiful, just a short drive from Galena. All the rooms are individual with a great view. Good beds.The hosts Cass and Steve are always there to answer any questions and create a nice atmosphere, specially at the big breakfast table. .The breakfast was delicious, we loved the cinnamon roll french toast. we had an overall great stay.

We loved the comfortable and private bungalow - felt like our home away from home! And most importantly Cass & Steve were the most gracious hosts. We had so much fun getting to know them and the other couples during the delicious breakfast.

At night it could be hard to see the entrance.

The hosts were very welcoming and greeted us at the door. The property is charming, filled with antique details, furniture, books, and decorations. The breakfast was tasty, and it was a cool experience to eat at one table with the other guests. It was a good opportunity to discuss what to do in Galena; everyone had something to share. Also, little touches like a complementary snack basket, coffee, and waters was really nice. The room (canopy suite) was spacious

As much as we love old stuff, I think the bed should be changed out. It was creaky, the mattress worn, and the decorative pillowcases yellowed with age. I would keep the bedposts and the canopy, but rig them up to a fresh new bed frame and mattress, and invest in some new linens.

Jan and Lorraine were fabulous hosts and made you feel right at home. The breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed the homemade chocolate chip cookies each evening. We also liked sitting outside on the balcony. The location was on a main road but far enough off the road to make it feel quiet and private. It's definitely a place we would like to visit again in the future.

This was an old farmhouse so you have to climb fifteen stairs to get to your room. The rooms are decorated nicely but as people age, it will be more difficult to get to your room.

Lorain and Jan the owners that run it are wonderful and personable!..we enjoyed their company and stories and they made really good breakfast!

The breakfast was so delicious, Loranne and Jan were awesome and made you feel so welcome.

We loved everything! The house, the furniture, the home made breakfast and cookies...but the best thing is to feel like home!! And that's thanks to the owners, who treated us as family!
