Monaliza Surf Resort La Union

What did I like? Nothing.

All of it - our experience was extremely disappointing. The Price for this room per day was not worth it. Dont get fooled by their "beachfront" advertisement. The bed was very small and barely comfortable enough to sleep on. The sheets looked dirty and did not seem properly cleaned. The room we were assigned was located at the back of the resort, which was not accurately represented in the photos. The area felt dark and unwelcoming. There were a lot of mosquitoes inside the room, and we couldn't determine where they were coming from. The internet connection was very slow, and there was little to no mobile data signal in the area. The property advertises private parking, but it is not free. Guests have to pay ₱200 per day, and the parking area itself is not well-maintained or particularly convenient. Overall, the experience was so uncomfortable that we ended up looking for another place just to get proper rest. The conditions were honestly quite traumatic, and I cannot imagine having a good night's sleep in that room. I would not recommend staying here.

Bathroom needs improvement

This is a great location, you're literally directly at the beach.

To make a long story short, the room doesn't look anything like what's in the picture of the room posted on booking. Expect mold, sand, cockroaches and very old pillows on your bed.

Position was excellent staff and owner very helpful food was great The rooms we stayed in needed a lot of maintenance
