Noosa Blue Resort

Hinterland penthouse and it's outdoor jacuzzi upstairs, indoor bathtub with jets, the amazing view from the living room and upstairs made this trip complete. Location was very convenient, only a 5-minute walk into town.

The only downside was construction noise, but that is totally understandable as they are currently upgrading the pool area which I think will look amazing next time we come and stay once it's completed.

Large room, big bed, clean. Nice spa bath. Easy check in/out, safe underground parking.

Heavy rains meant that floors were wet and slippery. Rain dripping through into the garage parking area. Couldn’t fully black out the room due to shutters on the window.

Property was lovely. We didn’t get housekeeping but that may be due to us being in the penthouse style? Unsure as other rooms near ours had it. But overall not a problem as we’re pretty tidy and only stayed 4 days

I was charged a $200 “extra cleaning fee” after checkout, which appears excessive and unjustified. The photos provided showed a typical post-stay condition (unmade beds, used towels, minor items left, lightly used kitchen) with no damage or significant mess. The property’s terms mention possible extra cleaning charges, but do not define what qualifies or indicate fees anywhere near this amount. It effectively suggests guests are expected to leave the apartment in near hotel-ready condition, which is not reasonable. I requested a breakdown and the policy basis for the charge, but this was not provided. The matter was ultimately resolved through my card provider. I would strongly recommend caution with pre-authorised card charges, as additional fees may be applied after checkout with limited upfront clarity or breakdown.

A Mixed Bag — Good Bones, Needs TLC The room was a decent size with a well-equipped kitchen, and the bed was comfortable. However, a strong bleach smell on arrival was off-putting, and the couch was surprisingly uncomfortable. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, but the resort overall looks tired and run-down. A dirty bathroom mirror was a small but telling sign that attention to detail is lacking. Good potential, but some investment in upkeep is needed.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
