"Absolutely perfect"

10.0

Caroline was a perfect host, offering us huge flexibility with our check in & check out and super fast response times to any questions we had prior to arrival. The location is great, especially if your trip is for biking or hiking. The house was exactly what we needed, lots of crockery, glasses etc. for 6 people. Beds were comfy and there was enough space for how long we spent in the house. Loved the addition of the Wii too!

The only downside we found was that the toilet was downstairs and you had to walk through the living room to get there which we had people sleeping in, so they were woken a few times in the night, but this is if we're being really fussy!

"Great stay with visits to The Gower and Tenby, Aberavan Beach was great for the dogs."

7.0

We stayed at this venue last year to be near our friends who were just over the road. It was very convenient to come again this year. Everything we needed was in the cottage.

This could be our age which is over 70. We had our dog with us and had to take her down the fire escape to get to the garden first thing, the steps down into the garden seemed deeper than last year and there was one or two that were a bit wobbly. She wouldn't go up the fire escape after I'd cleared up so we had to go through the side gate and out the front to the front door, but at 7.30am and in my pj's wasn't the best experience. I can't see any other way really so we probably wouldn't return which is a shame.

Absolutely Gorgeous cottage which felt like Home from home. Very clean, and modern yet cosy. Very spacious. Everything we needed to make the stay just right in the living room, kitchen and bedrooms. Plenty of towels and bedding for a family of 5/6. Extremely comfortable beds in both rooms. The bedding was cosy. Fan in the double bedroom was a hit! Bathroom with big bath and stand up shower. Just perfect. Nice touches like stair gates and high chair available, kids toys and books, Board games, books, dvds/dvd player, and a console. The fire pit/BBQ in the garden was enjoyed. Would highly recommend. Very easy to contact the owners, who were so helpful and quick to reply. Lovely bottle of wine, sweet treats, milk, butter etc when we arrived at the property. 10/10 - value for money.

We all enjoyed our stay. But If we had to be really finicky, the steps up to the back entrance are very steep and slippery when wet. The noisy road outside of the front of the property which made it difficult for front bedroom and the sofa bed sleepers to settle to start with.

"Will return. Fantastic cottage with access to lovely walking/ cycling trails."

9.0

Loved the feel of the cottage. It felt homely the minute we walked through the door. Lots of crockery, cutlery and anything else you need in a kitchen. A welcome gift of wine, jam, milk and bread really topped it off!

We felt the mattress was too soft. It would have been nice to have a balcony or a larger patio area. The steps down to the garden were very steep.
