Smugglers Cove Inn

Well located hotel with on street parking. There is a lift for your cases but still some steps at the front and when you exit the lift. The owners were very nice and helpful. Our room was spacious and well equipped, although the air con was very noisy. We stayed there on a very hot day/night so although we opened the door onto the small balcony, our room was really warm. The only plug socket we could find was by the door. We had breakfast at the two nearby bakeries, one opens at 08.00 and the other is open but doesn't have any baked goods until around 08.00, so tey elsewhere if you neeed an early start. Lunenberg was a lovely town.

It was clean and close to Peggys Cove. We felt it was pricey for the accommodations. Would not choose to stay here in the future.

Location is great.

Carpet needs to be replaced, room had a bad smell.

They went out of their way for us.

The carpet could do with a steam clean and the young girl (black hair) that checked us in was super unfriendly and rather unhelpful. My staff rating would’ve been lower but the lady working on the Sunday morning was super helpful and friendly so seemed unfair to have her associated with a low rating.
