Napa Winery Inn

The lack of privacy during my stay was a serious concern. While I was out, the front desk called to ask whether I had left my pet alone in the room. This is not a typical hotel experience and felt unnecessarily intrusive. After I confirmed that someone was in the room, the front desk attendant abruptly responded, “I’ll check again,” and ended the call. When I called back for clarification about whether staff were entering or monitoring my room, the same Saturday evening attendant became defensive and combative instead of providing a clear, professional response. It was not just the situation itself, but the attitude of the attendant that made it worse. The interaction felt hostile and unprofessional, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. Overall, the situation felt unsettling and inappropriate. It created the impression that guests are being watched or questioned, which is not acceptable when you are paying for a hotel stay. If you value privacy and professional service, you may want to consider a larger, pet-friendly hotel instead.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, which we truly appreciated. The rooms were well maintained and comfortable. The hotel’s location was also superb. We will definitely rebook for our future visit!
