Hotel Panorama

Great family own hotel! The dinner was nice, the only think I would change is the breakfast every day is the same. (7 days in a row) other then that is was great!

Excellent location for skiing - a very short walk to the slopes. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The games room was well kitted out and particularly enjoyed by my teenage boys. The room to keep ski equipment in included heated boot racks and was easily accessible. The breakfast was good - lots of choice. Most evening meals were good. We had an excellent week skiing in Passo Tonale and Hotel Panorama provided a reasonably costing way of staying just where we wanted to be.

Some variety in breakfast would have been nice as it was the same every day. A kettle in the room to make tea would have been great - but that's a very British expectation! Some of the evening meal courses were not good and vegetarians would have very little choice.

The facilities, the food. The room heating. They heat the rooms only in the afternoon for several hours. It was necessary to ask reception to operate the heating. Breakfast is poor, only boiled eggs, no omlette etc. Only one kind of bread, the simplest rolls, no whole wheat bread. No vegetables at all. One kind of cheese. Poor variety and low quality cold cuts, no Prociutto crudo, are we in italy? Dinner: The portions are extremely small. My teenager son and his friend were hungry after dinner. The salad bar has the same food everyday. No variety. Food gives feeling of eastern Europe and not Italy. In general it seems that the hotel policy is saving rather than providing adequate service and food. Part of the staff have very poor english.
