Very clean, quiet, relaxing vibe. Attentive staff, very kind to a weary traveler.

Location

The sheets were dirty , and a strong disinfectant smell in the room. Half open old soap and shampoo containers left in the shower.

Overall, the facility was what I was expecting for an inexpensive stay. People hanging around certain rooms, as if they live there, permanently. Though they were quiet and kept to themselves. I was annoyed because I wanted one of the beds changed, because of an odor. I mentioned it to the cleaner, yet it wasn’t done. Also, the bathroom door was closed when I entered the room. Upon opening the door, the room smelled of mildew. After running the bathroom fan for a while, either the odor went away or I became used to it. Beside these idiosyncrasies the stay was uneventful.

The room was very clean and spacious. We stayed in the rear building on the second floor. The flooring on the second floor landing is a little slippery and curling but overall the facility is very well kept. Let's be honest, it's a very inexpensive place. The clientele may not be permanent residents but do seem to be living there. However, it's just people trying to get by. They were very friendly, courteous and quiet. The front desk personnel were understanding of my questions and concerns and set me at ease.

Clearly a no frills space. But, staff was helpful and they accepted pets. No coffee maker in room. However they did have a digital cable so one did not have to rely on those awful streaming services.

It was in a nice location very quiet the staff was friendly and accommodating I would definitely stay there again!

I really cant think of anything we went to Larconia Bike week and it was a great place to unwind and rest!
