Such a charming resort, we absolutely loved it. We booked it for the location by the waterfall but the kind and friendly staff, great food, sweet swimming pool and cosy rooms really won us over. Will definitely be back. Oh and the peacocks! And the cat!

Super schön am Wasserfall gelegen, sehr schöne Zimmer.

Resort liegt direkt neben einer Straße. Unser erstes Zimmer war uns zu laut, aber wir durften zum Glück wechseln. Auch in zweiten Zimmer hörte man die Straße aber nicht mehr so laut.

Staying at a hotel built literally on a cascade is an unforgettable experience! Very charming, with wooden villas built in the middle of the forest. The scenery is 10/10! You can tell that nothing is new but that gives the hotel a unique identity. We were lucky to be there in the low season, so only 2 rooms were taken. Incredibly peaceful environment - the only sound you can hear is the cascade water flowing. There is an infinity pool over the cascade and the restaurant/bar deck is literally built on top of the cascade rocks. The staff is very kind and super helpful. A once in a lifetime opportunity!

Sukantara Cascade Resort and Spa is an absolute gem for travellers seeking peace, nature, and authenticity away from mass tourism. Tucked beside a stunning set of rapids, the resort offers a serene, intimate atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The sounds of flowing water and surrounding jungle create a calming escape. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the facilities are both luxurious and thoughtfully integrated into the natural surroundings. Every detail is curated for comfort and relaxation. Now that we've discovered this hidden paradise, we will definitely be returning. A perfect retreat for those who value peace and beauty.

The resident peacocks are lovely, adding charm to the experience—though you do have to watch your step for the occasional pile of peacock poo which was always cleared away!

I took a solo trip to this resort and I must say the staff is very friendly, the resort is very clean, and the food is very good. Btw there is so much stuff to do around the resort I would suggest waiting to book your excursions once you get here. An employee named Tan was very helpful. They also have a beautiful river fall on the resort! Beautiful mountains as well!
